Made in America by Mat Williams

Our new exhibition at Harrison's documents a two month trip artist, Mat Williams, had across America in the summer of 2010. Through hand-drawn illustrations and printmaking he depicts the people and places he saw along the way.

Mat Williams is a freelance illustrator who graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2008 with a BA in Graphic Design. Since then Mat has worked on a wide range of design and illustration projects for moving image, film and print.

As a keen traveller, Mat continues to work on an on-going series titled 'Tourists & Locals' where he documents people and places from around the world.
